1. Academic & Competition Scope
The Flanker UAV web platform and associated digital resources showcase the aerospace engineering research, autonomous flight development, and airframe design conducted by students at Yıldız Technical University (YTU) competing in TEKNOFEST and related robotics events.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should refrain from using this website and downloading its associated software.
2. Intellectual Property & Media Rights
All content featured on this platform, including but not limited to aircraft designs, flight test photographs, high-resolution videos, 3D renderings, CAD drawings, software code, logos, and team branding, is the exclusive intellectual property of Flanker UAV unless credited otherwise.
You may view and share links to publicly hosted media for non-commercial, educational, or press reporting purposes, provided appropriate attribution to Flanker UAV is maintained.
Unauthorized commercial exploitation, reproduction, modification, distribution, or reverse engineering of team airframe designs, flight telemetry systems, or branding without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
3. Software & Companion App Disclaimer
Flanker UAV makes available experimental companion software, including the Android APK (DragonFly GCS / Flanker UAV Companion) and web-based tactical flight tools.
This software is provided strictly on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
The companion applications, flight checklists, and ground utilities are developed for student research, simulation, and academic competition activities. Flanker UAV does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free software operation.
Under no circumstances shall Flanker UAV, its team members, or Yıldız Technical University be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use or inability to use this software, including hardware loss or operational flight mishaps.
4. No Certified Aeronautical Advice
Information, pre-flight checklists, center-of-gravity calculations, and mission logging procedures presented on this platform are tailored specifically to Flanker UAV internal airframes and experimental prototypes.
Nothing on this website constitutes certified civil aviation guidance, commercial aeronautical instruction, or regulated airworthiness documentation. Operators of remote-controlled or autonomous unmanned aerial systems must adhere to local civil aviation regulations and safety codes.
5. External Links & Third-Party Platforms
Our website may contain links to external third-party websites or services (such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and GitHub). Flanker UAV does not endorse, oversee, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party platforms.
